Our Story

MindThread was created with one purpose  to help start conversations around mental health and remind people that they are never alone.

Founded by a group of passionate young people in Aotearoa New Zealand, MindThread began from a simple idea: clothing can be more than something you wear it can carry a message, create awareness, and bring people together.

We noticed that many people struggle to talk about their mental health, especially when they feel like they have to keep everything inside. Through our designs, we aim to break down those barriers and encourage open conversations about wellbeing.

Our Māori-inspired designs represent connection, strength, and the importance of looking after one another. Every MindThread product carries a message of courage, support, and unity.

We are proud to be a youth-led movement from Tokoroa, working to create positive change across our communities and Aotearoa.
